Wig Chix was founded by two friends, Cindy Taylor and Cindy Gilstrap, who were interested in assisting people who suffer from hair loss. They wanted to provide women, men, and children with affordable, stylish, and professional-looking wigs. The idea originated with helping cancer patients in the community and evolved into providing a private and nurturing environment where customers could enjoy a salon experience at their brick-and-mortar location in Rome, Georgia.
Cindy Gilstrap worked in tax and accounting software for 25 years. She is married and has 6 children, as well as 6 grandchildren. The most important member of her family is her black lab named Bear.
Cindy Taylor has been a cosmetologist for 30 years and a salon owner for 21 years. She is married and has 4 children and a dog.
Their combined experience provides a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff.
Wig Chix LLC has been a well-known Wig Shop in Rome, GA since 2019. What started as a hobby has become our passion, and we are delighted to share it with you.
