New to Wigs

We'll cover all the basics to help you get started: finding your perfect size, the different types of wig caps, lengths available, and hair textures. Everything you need to pick out the wig that's right for you.

How to find your wig size

Measuring is simple. Use a soft measuring tape and take three measurements:

  1. 1

    Measure ear to ear.

  2. 2

Measure the circumference all around your head.

  3. 3

Measure down the middle of your head, from the top of your forehead to the nape of your neck.

Cap construction

Lace Front

  • ·The lace extends from temple-to-temple (or ear-to-ear) and is designed to blend with a variety of skin tones.
  • ·Each hair is individually tied to the front of the cap, allowing you to style hair away from the face while maintaining a natural front hairline.
  • ·Most are ready-to-wear and do not require tape or adhesive.

Hand Tied

  • ·Comfortable and lightweight, ideal for sensitive scalps or hair loss.
  • ·Each hair is individually hand-tied to the cap for the most natural movement.
  • ·Hairs move freely, so you can comb the hair in any direction.

Monofilament

  • ·A full mono top allows for parting and styling versatility.
  • ·A double mono top adds an extra layer of soft material for comfort on sensitive skin or scalps.
  • ·Each hair is individually hand-tied to a sheer base.

Simple

  • ·Includes both cap-less and traditional constructions, with open wefting for better air ventilation.
  • ·Hair is pre-teased at the root to mask the cap beneath, often giving natural volume at the crown.
  • ·Some of the most durable and affordable wig caps.

Lengths available

Short

Pixie and bob styles provide the perfect lightweight, effortless look.

Mid-Length

Not too short and not too long, just the right length for simple styling.

Long

Long locks provide so much room to experiment with different hair-dos.

Hair textures: human, synthetic, or a blend?

Wigs come in human hair, synthetic fiber, or a blend of both. Each has its own feel, styling flexibility, and care needs. During your appointment, we'll help you understand the differences and choose what works best for your lifestyle and budget.
